On Thursday
we had a market day. The school Councillors organised it. There were lots of
stuff to buy like books, toys and baking, there were even a lucky dip which had
three cakes. Thank you School Councillors
On Thursday
we made a sponge cake for free choice. The people who wanted to make it got to
do it. We all got to help make the cake mixture we all got a turn at mixing it
all together. Once the mixture was ready it had to go up to the staffroom to
bake to eat. The cake was yummy after it was made.
Today Debbie
my mum and Luke my little brother came in to talk about Totara North School.
Debbie talked about their Cool Cross Country, the awesome water slide, the flying fox and the trampoline. My mum's old school has been open for 152 years. There
were 11 kids when she was there but now there is 25 to 30 children. Her mum was
the teacher aide at the school. There teachers names were Mr and Mrs Hislop and
there would be amazing beach visits.
On Friday the 6th Good Shepherd had a character
Parade in the hall. The school dressed up as a Character from a book character
and came up on the stage and told the school of what they were!
In the last two weeks we have been learning
about instructions and in reading we made volcanos. Everyone had to bring in an
ingredient such as vinegar, baking soda, sand and food colouring. First we made
a volcano with the sand, next we put the baking soda in, after that we put the
food colouring in, finally we put in the vinegar and watched the ERUPTION!!
