Family Friday Week 9

Today my mum came in for Family Friday and she told us about the Cape Town mistrals and the competition to be best dressed best dance and best singing. She also told us a little bit about Table Mountain and when clouds are low it looks like there’s a table cloth on Table Mountain. I surprised the class by showing them how people dance for the festival. Thanks for coming in mum!

Mountain Biking Fact File

Some people love to mountain bike.  They need to have track makers so that the tracks are ready for them.

We mountain bike to have fun, to do fitness and to make us active.

We mountain bike in the forest, on the mountains and on tracks.  Anywhere there are jumps and bumps.

You make tracks by flattening trees.

Did you know that the narrower the track the faster

You go? Did you know it takes 10 hours to make 10 meters of trail?
