First Holy Communion Celebration

At the end of First Holy Communion Mass we celebrated in the hall. There was lots of food and drinks. The people that received their First Holy Communion got to sit at special tables on stage and eat and celebrate together. At the end Father cut the delicious cake that Sharon made. It was such a wonderful day with lots of special memories. Congratulations First Holy Communion students of 2014.

First Holy Communion

On Sunday 7th September some Good Shepherd students celebrated their First Holy Communion. This means that they can receive the Eucharist, which represents the body and blood of Jesus. The whole school came and it was a glorious day. The girls wore pretty dresses and the boys were dressed smartly.

Caritas

Thank you Gemma for teaching us about Caritas. We also learnt about giving poor people money to survive. We had lots of fun learning about caritas with you. We also looked at different countries. I liked when you asked me questions.

Family Friday Week 7-Arnie

This week it was my family Friday. My mum came in and told the class about Japan and what kind of food they eat, where they are on earth, what their seasons are like, popular sports, their tradition and the similarities between New Zealand and Japan. She also gave us lessons on how to make t-shirts for father’s day.

Family Friday Week 6

Today my mum came in for Family Friday. First she talked about her job as a physio and got us to do some exercises. Then she taught us about how to decorate a cupcake. The best part was we got to decorate our own cupcakes and eat them too! Thanks mum!
