Curtis' Story

This term we have been learning how to write narratives. I hope you enjoy the story.

The big adventure

A long, long, long time ago.  There was a stampeding elephant. One day he found a mirror it was a gold mirror! He accidentally ran into it and got teleported to the land of fire. He found an injured bird. He healed it and helped it so they became best friends. They both excitedly ran back into the mirror but got teleported into a desert! The elephant said “look a giant snake!” So they ran as fast as they could. The elephant and bird found a cave. The bird said “this cave won’t last long!” So they ran to the end of the cave and found a passage. They had lots of time so they stopped and then sneaked out. They found the mirror and jumped into it and everything went back to normal.

The end.

Tonga's Family Friday

On Friday my mum came in to talk about Tonga. First we talked about the Tongan rules which are to not talk back to your parents. Then we talked about the most important thing about Tonga like family and religious. Family  is important because the mum and the dad does everything but dad is the head of the family like if you say I want mum and dad to stop fighting then they will have a family meeting. And when they said sorry it’s over.
