Matariki
IMG 0158 from Good Shepherd School on Vimeo.
In room 9 we have been creating our own Matariki myths. We could either make it as a movie or a book. Some others used the paint app on the computers to make pictures for their books.
Here's one of our videos we hope you enjoy them.

Family Friday Week 8
On
the 12th of June my mum came in to talk about her job. Everyone was
a little grossed out by everything my mum brought in. The most grossest thing my mum brought in was a sheep’s heart yuck!
The
best thing about it was the part where my mum said do you want to touch it. They
were all gross but everyone loved it, now that is my family Friday.

Family Friday Week 7
On Friday the 5th of June my mum came
in and talked about the Philippines, she told us where it is and what part my
family was from. She also told us about the population and the King and Queen
and she made a PowerPoint. She also taught us a game where you have 3 people and the
others have to try and get inside your square, and you have to try and get through
all three squares and then you do it again and again until you have a winner.
Thanks mum for coming in.

Book Week
On the 1st of
June we had Book Week. It was a really
fun week. On Friday we dressed up as our favourite book character and we also had
a scavenger hunt where there were some quizzes that we had to figure out in
groups. The people who won were Lachlan, Pippa and Jessica, they could choose a Smiggle toy. Everyone loved Book Week, it was
the best week ever!

Family Friday week 6
On Friday 29th of May my mum came in and
talked about my family. We had pictures and my mum did a PowerPoint. The PowerPoint had pictures about when I was a baby and when I was 1 year old and 2 years old. Also when I visited my cousins in India and when I came to New Zealand (Auckland)
and moved to MT Roskill. My favourite part was when I played
with my sister it was fun.
