Road Safety

We participated on the Road Safety poster design competition to promote "Belt on, Phone off" to help drivers stay safe when driving. Quite a few from our class won the prizes.

Opera at School

Last week NZ Opera came to our school to form for us. We enjoyed their show. We were amazed by the way they sang and the way they could sing so high.

Soccer Fun Day

The Year 4 students had a Soccer Fun Day with Kiwi Sports Auckland. When we were waiting for our turn, we had some warm up activities. When it was our turn, we split into four teams and had soccer games. It was really fun. We hoped we could have another soccer fun day.

Pink Shirt Day for Anti-bullying

Today is the PINK shirt day for anti-bullying. We all wear pink colour to support anti-bullying.

Life Education Van

The Life Education Van came to our school at the beginning of Term 2. the whole school took turns to go to the classroom in the van and learn about how to keep us healthy. We learnt a lot and we had fun in the van.

Water Safety Education - Life Jacket

We learnt how to keep safe in water with life jackets.

H.E.L.P Position is the position we should hold in

water to help us keep warm and save our energy.

H stands for Heat. E stands for Energy. L stands

for lessening. P stands for Position. We also

learnt the group huddle and the survival chain.

Although it was very cold in the water, it was

really fun.
