On the 9th of May Martien
Van Aken came in to speak to the class about the Netherlands. He talked about
where the country is, what the favourite sport was and that they turned the
carrots orange. We looked at the clogs they used and he said that they are
harder than metal tip shoes. He all gave us a Dutch biscuit each, it was yum.
At the end we made tulips but they were very hard to make and everyone
struggled. After that we played Grandma’s Green Underpants and everyone who got
a turn laughed. We had a great time!!!
